Alexandra had the great honor of showing her new work, Red Waters, in Times Square, New York, New York July of 2025.
Borne of a dream, this painting honors all who were lost to the Ocean during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and tells the story of the mermaids who gave them new life underwater.
Red is a healing color of the root chakra and the golden border represents the sun simultaneously setting and rising on those lives. Blessings.
